Reality for pool is slot will survive because everyone else going for the last cl spot are somehow more hopeless than we are.
But god damn we have regressed badly.
Its almost a bit of worry slot will be given more money to spend in the summer.
Smells a bit like Rodgers last season.

You will never not see me happy for a win over Pool, but I still don't like the performances, and im terrified of next season under Carrick in complete honesty with more games and the squad how it is.
The team still finds ways to make games difficult. They threw away the 2 goal lead today and thankfully Liverpool were still so ordinary we were able to nab the 3rd.
Its going to be an intriguing season next one to see how all the teams go.

He's mentally fried himself. To the point where he's destroyed almost every relationship he had in the dressing room and most the players want to leave.
The team has no heart, no desire, no energy, no tactical common sense, and for whatever reason FSG are enabling it by giving him more power and time.
He's a cancer on the club and its beyond Rodgers or Hodgson. It is genuinely turning me off football having to watch these rancid performances every damn week.
The last few mins of Salah's interview on Sky said it all, the club is circling the drain with this guy in charge.
If Virgil is the leader we think he is, the guy needs to walk into the next meeting with senior management at the club and demand to leave if this manager is staying. Simple as that.

IMO we've made our bed, we've gotta make it work, or at least give it 3 seasons.
Again to reuse the scenario, it's a bit like Rodgers albeit when he bought Firmino.
Didn't know how to use him and get the best out of him.
If we can't get a consistent tune out of him in the next 2 seasons, some German club will still buy him for 70-80.
But it's not as if he can't play, you can see he operates on a different wavelength to most of the team. But either we don't know how to use him or he's someone that just won't ever come to grips fully in the EPL. Happens to a lot of good players. Veron for you guys is one such example.
