Tried to piss that game away and somehow Bruno doesn't hold the record outright because nobody could finish.

We need a lot of signings if Carrick is going to work long term and that is terrifying in itself.

100-125m. Absolutely no chance at that fee. Id be overjoyed if it somehow happens though, but still just think he's destined for Citeh

They keep saying they want best in class. If they had any sense, they would pay the money. He would be perfect for us. I think if Pep leaves City, he will be less willing to go there.

But you're right, at that price, they won't go anywhere near him. They want cheap.

Is what it is. Whether he would be a good fit or not, hard to tell. He'd obviously get Wirtz firing and I think defensively we'd be a lot better, but ? over how we'd go in attack.
Plus I guess there's the sentimentality to it, which apparently FSG are a bit hesitant over.

It's worrying that Slot is going to be given the summer and more money though as I've said before on here. What happens if he drops another 150-200 and we stink it up for the first 3-4 months with no improvement? Another Rodgers situation in the making. Hopefully they're not too proud to admit their data was wrong and it's time to shift to another strat.

United has never done 'cheap'. You're back in UCL now so I fully expect them to drop cash on some big names.

Agree that Anderson ends up at City. That isn't really much of a decision for the player.

But no, they are confirmed for relegation. Arsenal ideally would like to win by a couple goals just to be safe of GD for final day.

Would have been better for Arsenal to win by more but a win is a win.
