Siege mentallity. Sticky got his choice, and with it is insinuating that we are arse during the day. With the NRL happy to provide a gobbler, it’s now obviously us vs everyone. Madge seems to love that, so get the boys fired up!!!!

Heard on the broadcast today that Raiders have won 9/10 Sunday afternoon games this year. Our record I'm sure is not nearly as good. Ricky's got his team an advantage, can't fault him for trying - but for the NRL to bend the knee, that's pretty poor.
I mean they only lost 5 games all year and one of those was today when Ricky threw his reserve grade squad out there.

Their record will be good regardless of the timeslot.

Broncos Sunday record this year is 3-2... but Reece is 3-0 baby!!

If we play like we did last week, we likely win this.

If we win this, we likely win the comp.

We are totally in control of our own destiny, if we show up with the same belief, intensity, passion and heart we did against Melbourne then we will come out on top.

I'm really not bothered by the Raiders. Incredibly soft draw and they have been fading towards the back end of the year. Canberra are a tough, bruising side, but talent-wise they are well below average. Match it with their forwards and players like Walsh will tear them to shreds. Minimising errors is key otherwise they can roll right through us.

Josh Papalii, Joe Tapine and Corey Horsburgh are the only one's remain from the 2019 Raiders grand final team. Tom Starling was technically in the team, but wasn't a regular first grader at that point in his career and watched the Grand Finals from the stands. I do wonder the lack of experience may be the Achilles heels for the Raiders and the Bulldogs this final series. Gould was asked about this on his podcast with the Bulldogs but played it down. We will find out with the Raiders on Sunday......

So Raiders have only played only 2 teams in the top 8 since June. 1st of June they played roosters and they won be 2. The next time they played a team in the top 8 was 22nd of August! They beat panthers by 4. Both of those games were very close. Besides those 2 games being 2 months apart, they’ve had one hell of an easy run to the finals. It’s so crazy how the media ignores the crazy and easy draw they’ve had the last few months.

I can see why Ricky is getting nervous. Obviously it’s an advantage being at home and it being during the day, but if the boys put the same effort that they put last week they will show Canberra how it’s done! I also hope the long-ish break doesn’t hinder the momentum of the boys.

Pretty simple for us against the Raiders. Match them in the forwards and we should be able to win it with our backs. They have a big formidable pack with good bench rotation. If they keep rolling down the field they will be hard to stop. A good kicking game is key. Turn the big boys around.
