The defence has improved, but then Penrith have been predictible with the footy. If they're not playing off the back of Mansour, they're struggling to make inroads.
Defence around the middle is still a concern. Gillett 5 missed tackles and 4 ineffective, he's chosen a poor time to play his worst brand of footy.

Whoever is giving Moga wraps for his defence needs to open up their eyes.
He's charging in like Sir Galahad like he did last week (and most others) , leaving miles of space for them to go around him. If they did anything other than play short to the back rower they'd be racking them up.
He might be laying on a good tackle but he'll cost us if he keeps doing it.

Yeah, Gillet should've got given lots of penalties for players holding on for to long on multiple times as well.
Oates is big loss. Was making a big dent. Hunt is good but love him to have a break for last 20. At least let him have a few light sets and use Thaiday in hooker.
Benji needs a 15 minute breather and Milf told to take charge. Why isn't KNik playing some ball playing fullback? Gillett's back must f***ed way he is playing probably from carrying the team last few years. Ball control is pathetic again. It's not complicated - watch it and catch it. These guys are meant to be professionals.
Agree refs are managing the game into Penrith favour hugely. Murder in the ruck and not square at marker more often then not.
Big plus is defence looking better. Moga aside from mandatory dumb penalty has been good. Like Glenn's ownership.
