Manly don't give a #### what Tallis thinks. We will win thus one with a barrage up the middle regardless of how good manly scum play. Offloads a plenty tonight I reckon.
On 6 March 1988, at Lang Park in Brisbane, the brand-new Broncos defeated the 1987 Winfield Cup Premiers Manly-Warringah 44-10 in their first premiership game. What a great moment in our clubs history that was - hopefully there is another historic victory tonight against Manly.

Lockyer (and his cheekbone) has made an appearance in my local paper today. This is a paper which would normally focus on rogue stop signs, unnecessary speed humps, and the latest graffiti crime wave, and is based in an area which has probably never even heard of rugby league. At best, we get the odd local rugby story.

The final 4 teams this year have a large contingent of players who took part in successful Under 20s teams in the past 3 seasons.
While I still think the Toyota Cup is a poor competition, you can't deny it has produced some quality talent.

Hmmm...
Y'know there might be a few more Under 23's present these days than in years past but I don't think the gulf is that big.
There's definitely been some great players coming through, but, I believe there's a lot of talent being past over in the QCup and NSW Cup who could honestly do a better job than some of the players that are selected mainly because of convinience.
