Do we need another depth forward?

I'd be more comfortable with one more borderline NRL forward yes.

We've had a really good season in terms of injury and suspension. I don't think you can rely on that happening again.

We lose Flegs and Palaisa and Tapau is 34 next year. You bring Willison onto the bench it doesn't leave alot of proven depth. Although i guess we have brough Baker in so that helps. You have one long term injury and the odd suspension you're testing your depth.

I'd be happy with a journyman who's only racked up 40 to 50 games.

At the start of the season I thought we would need a new forward to replace Flegs but I think Willison will be able to cover that role even if it takes him about 2 more seasons to hit his straps, he has improved this year on the chances he was given.

We don't exactly have a Lock rotation who can do what Palasia has been doing in the second half of the season though, Kobe from what I have seen is more of a Mobile prop rather than a Ball player.

That said if we stagger the rotation with Haas and Carrigan it can be covered in the future, Haas can do the ball playing role quite good when put at first receiver because like Walsh he attracts soo many defenders to him.

Probably not their depth players, but they both have pretty decent packs themselves.

I dont think we will miss either Palasia or Flegler too much. Palasia tbf has been pretty solid and Flegler can be good. Flegler's problem is always going to be his discipline and dumbness. I dont think he will ever be the player he could be.

They are just both levels below Haas and Carrigan. The one issue i can see us having is if things go wrong and we lose Patty or Payne for a long period we havent got the quality to make up for them being out. Its going to be an issue when you have over 2 million tied up on two forwards.

Personally, for the money that Flegs is on, I’d keep Palasia. Flegler is a penalty magnet, does dumb shit and drops the ball. For half the price, Keenan is a quiet achiever, reliable and has improved out of sight this year. Can we say the same about Flegler?!

i think we will need another madman when fleggs leaves, he might get pinged a bit but he is agressive and puts alot of doubt in players when they go to the line think he will be missed more

My "actual team" is the Brisbane Broncos. Has been from the day we first started......

At this point, there are too many "things" relating to the Dolphins, that I can't/won't accept. None of them have anything to do with the team and how it plays its football.

I strongly dislike some of the Dolphins fans (their new culture), management and administration. IMO, they have sold out the people of Redcliffe.
