Honestly it's probably good he isn't, I think that car with anyone outside Max is undriveable tbh, even Lawson would do better in a RB, the Redbull is soo front sensitive it's basically undriveable for anyone else, as that is Max's style and to be fair to them they have to cater to him given he is the best driver on the grid.
They should have put Ricciardo there last year imo as he has a very similar style, but now they are just going to ruin more young drivers for no reason.
Yuki is out of the Redbull program after this year, Marko never wanted him he was a Honda driver but Honda said this year he is free to look for opportunities if he finds them, which to me says he will almost certainly sign for Cadillac next year.

Yep all of that is hard to argue but I still can’t shake the surprise at Lawson in general being earmarked as one of the next big things. He was decent but not a standout in F2 and did not set the world on fire like Yuki is in the second Red Bull team. Lawson is simply an average driver who in my opinion is about as good as Perez at best, hence saying it was a sideways movement.
I hope Yuki does go to Cadillac to be there spearhead but on the flip side, they are likely going to take a while to be competitive unfortunately.

Yep! Let's hope it is him and Piastri 1 and 2 for the GP proper because they look head and shoulders above everyone else out there.

Yeah its great to see.
I'm loving the variety of teams featured in top end after that sprint too. Should make for a great race.
I feel Lando will be quick again later in qualifying as Oscar showed good pace, so don't think it was all on the car as Lando would have people believe.
I've been a Max disliker for a long time, but one thing he never did is shy away from saying he had the best car. The Lando stuff all week shit me off talking down his car. It's clearly been the quickest car (maybe until this weekend as Lewis looks very quick)
