TPJ's was a Grade 2 charge. The additional weeks were because of loading. It's not like one hit is worth 1 week and the other is worth 5 in isolation.

I agree though that they seem to be pretty inconsistent for the most part.

It’s the grade 2 charge that was excessive and inconsistent. 2 weeks plus 1 week loading etc would have sufficed. 5 weeks was just a joke especially when compared to Melbournes (cough, cough) legal ufc/wwe tackles, along with Burgess and Trbojevic tackles getting zero in recent weeks makes the nrl judiciary the laughing stock of professional sport

Grading is subjective and I agree, wildly inconsistent. Carry over points and loading are pretty black and white though.

Flegler is going to be ALOT better than Wallace. We cannot lose him.

I think it's also a bit overlooked how young he is and how well he's gone for someone of his age and experience. I think the problem is that Fifita, but most of all Haas, have kind of broken Rugby League and really heavily warped people's expectations of what to expect from a teenage Forward, especially a middle Forward, at NRL level.

I think if Haas didn't exist, people would be way more excited about Flegler than they actually are. It's not either players fault, it's just so easy to get caught up in Haas that you can be forgiven for forgetting that most Forwards are way short of their peak while they're still in their teens.

I think Flegler has potential to be an absolute blue chip Front Rower in coming years. Payne Haas on the other hand has the potential to be the greatest Forward that has ever played the game.

Yeah, agreed. Imagine if Flegler came through in 2010 when Nick Kenny was our best front row forward. He might have been more hyped than even Haas back in those days.
