I realise that Allen is the flavour of the month around these parts ... But Holmes is the better player.

Now, if Brimson wasn't injured and he picked Holmes ahead of him at fullback you might have a point

This didn't age well. Holmes was exactly the same as he was for the Cowboys at fullback. Hardly spotted in backline moves - and in effective returning kicks. And low and behold - he's back there again.

Wouldn't be surprised if Bennett switches Allen into fullback at some stage.

Not exactly the first player to be out of form and get picked for QLD.....and then go out and kill it.
let's hope he performs per the QLD history he follows.

The difference is game time. Holmes hasn't played for weeks.
