The Heat just keep losing players.
it’s crazy. I can’t recall any other clubs who lose players as consistently as the Heat but still remain competitive

Tim Southee is playing his last test. Boy that feels an end of an era.

There you go! Zimbabwe have scored their highest ever test score - 589 against Afghanistan.

My Test Team of the year.

Jaiswal- 15 Tests, 1478 runs.
Duckett-17 Tests, 1149 runs.
Root-17 Tests, 1556 runs.
Mendis-9 Tests, 1049 runs.
Brook-12 Tests, 1100 runs.
Ravindra-12 Tests, 984 runs.
Carey- 46 dismissals 440 runs.
Henry-48 wickets
Bumrah-71 wickets
Hazlewood 35 wickets
Joseph-29 wickets

No spinner, Santner took apart England and India which I admire but Joseph's effort in Brisbane gets him there.

Found this on Reddit so unsure of how accurate it is, but apparently the below is the 2026-27 WTC schedule for Australia... not looking like it will be an easy transition for the next guys coming through.

- September/October ‘26 - SA 3 tests Away
- December/January ‘26, ‘27 - NZ 4 tests Home
- January/February ‘27 - India 5 tests Away
- March ‘27 - Bangladesh 2 tests Home
- March ‘27 - England 1 test Home
- June/July ‘27 - England 5 tests Away

The 150th anniversary test is a cool idea.

Have $10 on Australia to win by 45 runs.

First Test 1877- Australia won by 45
Centenary Test 1977- Australia won by 45 runs
150th 2027-

Interesting finish to the second WODI vs England.

9th wicket run out after mix up on a no ball

Sutherland is then booted after two waist high full toss no balls. McGrath finished the over but the Poms didn't realise it was the last delivery so they didn't run an easy single. Schutt bowls the tail ender next ball.

Just read it on cricinfo. She lost the plot about 2 over earlier

Oh, she stranded the non-striker twice. They went from needing 29 from 30 to 29 from 26 because of it.

Some great catches by the Aussies in the third WODI. Litchfield and Garth had some good efforts earlier. Ash Gardner with one of those throw in boundary catches just now.
