could be very much on an island here, but I just do not get the fuss with our results in this T20 World Cup ..
to me, this format of cricket carries about as much significance as sevens rugby..

It’s like when you’re passing by the tv or driving around with the radio on and they mention Australia’s result in the pointy end of some sevens tournament..Don't care if we lose but always love when we win
A) We won - “**** yeah, how good are we!”
B) We lost - “pffff, what the **** is sevens!?”

I don't think I watched an entire BBL or ODI game all summer. Flicked them on but never really invested any time into it. Test and shield cricket is all I care about

Smith was made part of the 15 and still didn’t get picked. Why ****ing fly him over there if you aren’t going to use him? They also dropped Renners and we lose to Sri Lanka.

Our Selectors have completely ballsed it up. very ordinary effort from them with the team selections. Overall I' d say we are just missing too many bowlers to be any good in the world cup anyway.

Drop the Captain , alt Head for him to open ?
Or drop the golden boy who is being developed as the long term #3 and middle overs bowler ?
That`d be a step backwards and a short term fix .

Anyone get their results from ticket lottery for 150th Anniversary test at the MCG next year?
They appear to have only drawn day 1 at this stage, with days 2-4 getting processed tomorrow.
I got some nosebleed category E tickets for day 1. Better than nothing!
