Now that the Monaghan idea has gone to the dogs, why don't we make a play for Brisbane boy Jamie Simpson who I note is being shopped around by Souths. Sure he's in the Michaels mould but he's robust and enthusiastic and he's a competitive little bugger. I think he would go ok at centre and can cover hooker in an emergency.
