It looks kinda the same on my TV, I don't get it.

I think it looks better to me, but I didn't really take too much notice, it might be just the Grand Final which has HD actually turned on.

Haven't seen a non HD TV in 5 years or more haha.

FWIW I don't know the technical difference but I swear Fox HD looks a lot better.

For all I knew, you could have been a miser & not bothered to buy a newTV & was using the outdated one.
