Yep, and 2 very timely dropped balls from dummy half and an odd kick from dummy half with 3 minutes to go.

Before the game they said a punter had $50 000 on a Manly u 20 win into Manly @ $5 to win $250 000 then Melb come up with so many unusual mistakes.
Now, Manly played really well in that first half and I don't seriously think Melb chucked the game but it really is a downside to allowing punting on games, it makes you wonder if?

Melbourne were all too busy whinging because they did not get ever single call possible go their way, all too busy shaking their heads, I'm sure Melbourne would be the only team who could all shake their heads in unison

And I really think that's what lost it for them, they get too caught up and never seem to be able to anything go and I think its a product of getting all the calls go their way, they get so surprised when a call goes against them and they just can't get over it - Smith didn't get a penalty out of dummy half, blew up, didn't let it go, missed the kick because he wan't focused, and then knocked on because he was focused on missing the kick - all a flow on effect of not being able to be mature and move on

Absolutely, you could tell that sooky baby just wouldn't get over it and just made things worse for himself and much better for Manly.
