spend some time in the bush...green and gold is a very fair representation of Australia. These werent the colours that our first rep teams wore. But i teckon the wattle is a positive representation of us as a nationGreen and gold will never be my fav colours .. but seriously, khaki? Ewww.
I see this as a not-so-subtle marketing ploy to make Australians more amenable to being militarised. I don't live in Oz anymore, but I assume the level of recruitment ads is up again, and this is just a part of that.Green and gold will never be my fav colours .. but seriously, khaki? Ewww.

Ever noticed how when military recruitment is going down or not high enough, the level of impoverishment goes up? In America this trend is far easier to observe, but typically the military needs to look like an attractive option relative to just living your life in relative comfort, working, eating, sleeping with a roof over your head.
I'm probably on a list already hahaWe should all be kitting up against the government not for it
