PLANS for an historic NRL double-header at Suncorp Stadium next season are gaining momentum, in what will be a groundbreaking first for Queensland league.

The feast of league is pencilled in for the weekend of July 17-20, and involves back-to-back round 19 clashes between the Gold Coast Titans and the Bulldogs, and the Brisbane Broncos and South Sydney.

The Bulldogs have confirmed they will bring their `home' game against the Gold Coast to Suncorp Stadium regardless of whether the double-header eventuates, but all parties involved appear keen to make it a reality.

Success there should IMO help along the push to have an entire NRL round played as a festival of league at Suncorp Stadium from 2010. It'd be our Woodstock!

Wonder if ticket prices will be double the price and what about season ticket holders - do we get to stay for both games or have to pay extra?

As far as STH goes, I'd say it'd be the same as those held in Sydney.

Broncos season ticket holders would probably get their same seats, while the Titans would probably get seats allocated upon presentation of their season tix.
