Indigenous vs Maori All Stars 2022

It's been a decent game for the Broncos. James has been idling along at a solid pace without being outstanding, Kelly has been been above average at worst, but Selwyn Cobbo.....This kid is gonna be a freak.

Cobbo doesn't mind taking a hit does he either.

No injuries for us it seems. Sweet.

Some nice stuff from some of our players out there tonight and no injuries, that's all you can ask for.

Won't get too carried about Selwyn, the things he was doing you'd expect any first grade standard player to be able to do (taking hit ups, getting on loose ball, making his tackles, etc).

Yeah Cobbo was a bit quiet but he was solid inside defence and looked dangerous during his short stint at fullback.

Down by 6 with a couple of minutes to go. Deep in their end with a scrum. Their speedsters packing the scrum.

Clueless.

In fairness, it was the first game of the season, they were all stuffed and they aren't smart in favourable conditions, so they are no hope when heavily fatigued.

Kelly can be a good option at 6 if he slims down and Kevvie simplifies his role so he's just focusing on running the ball.

That's his strongest asset, his running game. He doesn't really offer much else.

But after today, he has no doubt dropped down the pecking order. I know it was against a Wynnum side that struggled to get into any kind of rhythm, but Mam was really good, and so was Gamble.
