Well yesterday was disappointing, thought Dolphins would be more professional than that, easily their worst performance of the year especially in defence. I understand they had a one man bench but it was interesting Mogg said he knew something wasn't right leaving the hotel. Considering they stayed at the Olympic site at the hotel there it didn't take much of a trip to know.

I didn't think the Dogs were great either, missed a similar amount of high tackles and wrong options those two tries just before half time killed Redcliffe.

That's three loses in a row, have to find out what the first two teams did that the last three aren't doing because it is looking sloppy. I think travelling might give it a holiday feel sometimes for the Queensland teams that the Pride and Jets just didn't fall into.

Great for Cleeland, I am even more sure that the Dogs have erred not giving him a run in the last three years. MOTM.

2/3 MOTM awards were from the ISC- Keary and Cleeland both from Ipswich too.

Riki was great for Norths and made his debut this year.

Nathan Cleary would still be eligible for the Junior side too, wouldn't he? The guy is only 20 still.
Good to see O'Sullivan there though. I know pretty much nothing about him, but hopefully it's a promising sign for us.

Funny really, Broncs lose the Australian junior fullback and gain the Australian junior halfback.

Still can't help but feel losing Allan will come back to haunt the club, he's a genuine gun in the making and in my opinion, a FAR better fullback prospect than Isaako, who I really don't rate as a fullback at all.

And Shibasaki, he would want to show more than he did in his first grade debut that's for sure, he looked Manihera-esque.

Carrigan MUST debut next year and I'd give Staggs the left centre spot for season 2019.

Hooker isn't just a position you throw any utility and expect them to do well. Bird is not a hooker

That by the way is one very good side

thats a good upgrade for us ... it is much harder to get a quality halfback than it is a quality fullback

Bullemor cleans up a treat.

A well deserved win to Ahearn. So much of their offence hinged around his play out the back and his decision-making was a real feature of his game.

Despite missing out on the finals, there was plenty to like about the Devils moving forward.

I think they’ll win the comp in next 2-3 years. Smith has done a great job.
