The player NSW wanted banned from representative football, Israel Folau, is set to leave rugby league with a fairytale Test match in the heart of western Sydney.
Folau has told officials he wants to represent his native Tonga for the first time when they play fierce Pacific rivals Samoa on October 24.

Thoughts?
IMO if he wants to play for Tonga he should be allowed to. He is a Rugby League player until 31 October, so until then he should be selected to play league matches for which he is eligible. And if Australia don't want to pick him because Geoff Carr and co are whiny bitches, then we forfeit our right to prevent him playing for Tonga as far as I am concerned.
