PLAYER Jai Arrow Medical Retirement

I think Jai has bulbar onset MND.

Because it impacts airway and swallowing muscles quickly, bulbar onset can progress faster than limb-onset MND, with an average life expectancy often ranging between 6 months to 3 years from the first symptoms.

My dad had limb onset MND.

Just the NRL, that we know of.

I can't imagine what that must be like.

To my knowledge, nobody has fought this thing and come out the other side, it's typically been a slow and painful experience, I suspect. That for me is what is crushing and I don't even have the condition.

At least with Cancer, there's always that chance. It's hard to even think about it.

Jai has been brought into origin camp to give the team inspiration (and I'm sure for them to support him).

Would like to see the QRL make him an honorary member of the team and give him a match fee.

Would be a nice gesture. His family are going to need all the coin they can get.

If you were a decent person and you knew about this sort of thing, the last thing you would do was try to proclaim you only kept it quiet out of respect. You would just have kept your mouth shut.

This probably should be in the bagging out thread, but this dipshit yesterday...

He deleted it and has attempted to explain. Regardless of what he was trying to say, it really wasn't the ****ing time to do it.
It also is worded as though it was not actually the club or jai who told them. Sounds like it came from a leak within. Some scumbag pos.
