Really impressed with him. Maybe it's just comparing him to Macca, but he definitely looks better. Better passing, more energy, hits hard, good support with offloads etc.

The QLD hooking stocks are so bad right now that I'd pick either Turpin or Mahoney. The alternatives are Granville or Hunt (will get STEAMROLLED by the NSW pack)... If Kevvie goes with Hunt at 9 and picks no Broncos it's going to be quite difficult cheering for QLD and bellends I despise week to week in club footy like Munster, Hunt, Granville, Chambers, and Morgan over NSW if Freddie picks Haas, Lodge, TPJ, etc. The only NSW blokes I dislike more than the aforementioned QLD players are LM and JAC, the latter of which is severely overrated and a meme who shouldn't even be in rep sides over guys like Cotric.

Maybe because he knew the plan he used all reserves in his 50 odd minute spell. AS said it was always the plan so Turpin knew.

It of course makes sense....otherwise, why do we have Seg-man at all? I'd like to see him come on in the last 10 mins of each half. I guess that burns an extra interchange, but it most likely is at those precise times when forwards are tireing, that he'll do the most damage. Turps sets it up......Seggy lands the punch. Seibold said yesterday he only wants to use 1 interchange for the hooking rotation.

We could always get turps to bump his head into an opposition prop around the 25 minute mark every week and we get a HIA interchange. Melbourne do it all the time.

whatever the consensus about what to call this thread.....all I can say is I can't wait for Turps to take on the warriors and watch with glee as he sizes up one of the warriors forwards and shirt-fronts the **** into the 2nd row of the stands....

Segwayaro would cover the halves as well if there's an injury. Not sure who covers the rest of the backline. Maybe MILF would drop back to fullback. Seems drastic though.
