Most hyped teenage halfbacks never really live up to it. For every Cleary or Dearden, there's Hutchison, Paix, Boyd, Croft, Clifford, J Nikorima etc etc etc.
Dearden was far more hyped than Black and it took him years to start living up to it. I think it's still worth keeping him around if possible, you never know what could happen in 3 years.

Pezet, all through the age groups, had none of that.

Madge and Braith are very close add to that braith is a closet broncs fan. Reyno as a halves coach and with Hunt there also to learn off, would be an unreal opportunity. Obviously he’ll earn more elsewhere however who wants to be stuck at the back-to-back gf losers down south.

He is gonna be absolutely lethal alongside Mam and Walsh. Opposition teams/coaches are already shitting themselves with dread at the very thought of it. As for his kicking, he could land the ball on a 20 cent piece from 30 metres out I reckon. Just elite, top 5 in the league already IMO.

Christ I am frustrated and angry with Rabbitohs recruitment, why aren't they forward thinking enough to throw a truckload of dollars at a bloke like this instead of wasting money on a lazy spud like David Fifita. ****ing Wayne has gone senile, I'm sure of it.

Pezet played 8 games for the Storm in 2025 (starting in only 2) ... in those 8 games he kicked 2 x 40/20's

Yeah I'm contemplating having a watch of them... want to see his general kicking.

His kicking looks nice, but I'm not sure it's a booming right foot that he has... he's definitely not a pop gun though.
