OFFICIAL Kevin Walters Steps Down As Broncos Coach

They pointed out the injuries which was true but the manner in which we were losing was concerning. Especially towards the end getting pumped in the Titans, Bulldogs and Dolphins games.

Also the way we played relied too much on star power and not on the systems in place. The good teams have injuries too but they are always competitive at least.

I've reached 7 minutes and I don't think I can continue. Dobbo is unbearable in this podcast - the **** sucking is far too much and I'm always down for that in the literal sense ffs
You lasted longer than me. I'm interested in what Kevvie has to say, but it's hard to take anything he says seriously after three years of overly diplomatic press conferences.

I call on budding cadet journalist @Sproj to transcribe it for us!

I respect Walters for everything he put into the Brisbane Broncos team but he'll be alot better in media no doubt.
So he's the weird twist in fate: a few years ago I copped a mountain of shit for suggesting Billy pack up his freshly upgraded CV and hit the ESL so as not to put his old man in a conflict of interest over his team and being a proud dad.

Fastforward and the nepo-arrow is pointing the other way. If Kevvie starts dishing on the Broncos, and in particular, negative inside info, it's going to kick back on Billy.

I like Kevvie the bloke, but Jeeze he’s a punish to listen to in the commentary box.
To be fair mate there aren't many I like listening to these days either. The days of real commentating has passed, a lot like cricket IMO. Graeme Hughes was probably my favourite.

I like Jim Maxwell.
