I'm with Lachy, the AFL ad is waaaay better as much as it pains me to say it. I agree that it makes them out to be a hell of a lot tougher than any of them could ever hope to be, but comparing the 2 ads, AFL wins.

I think it's a reference to AFL being a better sport than anything else, and also the players being tougher. As I said, that part of it is stupid obviously, but as an ad it's much better.

I haven't seen the AFL one. I wasn't commenting on the league ad in comparison. I just said I like the league ad.

I saw the AFL ad last night, twice. My reaction is still WTF?
How on earth does it make them seem tougher?
And how on earth is it any better than the league ad?
