He didn’t give it anywhere near enough hang time for the chasers to swarm Drinky the moment he got the ball.

Maybe they still would have got the field goal, but that extra 20 metres is valuable in a tight game like that one.

He’s a future half for sure but I hope people realize they will need to be patient with him because it will take him some time to learn these lessons.

We lost that game because of the no try disrupter call. A call that also hasnt been a call since that bullshit weekend.
 
So is Kevvie the Australian coach long term now? I think he's perfect for that job.

I think he gets another gig in the nrl pretty soon. There’s a few clubs searching for a new coach and unless all the negative mail is 100% spot on I don’t see why another club (especially one needing a rebuild) doesn’t give him a shot.

Storm homecoming for the former assistant coach. Conetallishead (saved the autocorrect) yelling over the top of the other 360 presenters "ive always loved melbourne! Would have played for them over brisbane if they were around! Rugby league heartland! Walters is better than bellamy! Sure, they have got 9 spoons in a row, but walters has had 2 or 3 injuries a year! Carnage!"

Also beat the Storm before they fully shat the bed, but that doesn't suit the narrative. Neither does the fact we were one 50/50 call (I'm being generous here) away from beating the Cows, and ditto for the Roosters. Despite having literally half our top 30 unavailable and a very large chunk of our salary cap included in that.

What results would make you happy, man? The fact we're even in games atm is ridiculous. If the injuries stop, we're easily better than most of the comp considering we're beating/going with them all despite an injury toll which would have nearly any other club anchored to the bottom of the table.

Who cares? We still won it. can only play who's in front of you etc etc.

The quality isn't much better this year either just quietly, but that's what NRL has become...
