Lote back to the Broncos?

Saw Hodges and Lote the other week in Sydney in deep conversation. Didn't think much of it at the time. With Hodges bringing the chin back to the Broncos, could it have been Hodges was trying to lure Lote back to the Broncos? With Hunt good as gone, Hodges back to fullback, Lote in the centres?

Surely we couldn't afford Lote though - even if Hunt leaves. Unless of course his value has dropped as a result of the termination of his ARU contract.

I would love to have Lote back! Get Wendell too.

I'm wondering that myself. Maybe league players aren't the only ones who get up to no good [eusa_doh .

Also I don't really know how well he would go in our backline. He may actually have to do something, and considering how he has been resting easy over the last 5 or so years it may be quite an adjustment.

Everyone knows that it's not just league players. They are just the 'in thing' at the moment. One of the other codes will cop it once people start getting bored with NRL scandals.

ARU sacked him after the 30th June deadline for League. (smart move on their part)

Though the rule states that under exceptional circumstances a player can be registered after June 30

Doubt it, don't want him anyway, we don't need any more half a million $ wingers.
We need money spent on the forward pack our backs are fine and most would make any other nrl team our forwards on the other hand are sorely lacking. Spend on all our money on one-two solid props and a backrower no more backs please there's plenty of good ones in reserves!

We can have an all Australian backline until we have Forwards who are getting over the advantage line 1st,2nd and 3rd tackle to make room for backline movements and give us consistently good field position then the backs can't play to full potential. Hodges to fullback, Folau to right centre, he'll have an off season to get his defence together and Hodges will have an off season to get used to fullback where he was very effective in 06, heck try Folau at fullback if there's no one ready from the juniors as long as we don't spend any more money on the backs, Buy a solid prop, I'm not sure if there is any off contract though.
