THE BOSS Maguire Stomped The Naysayers! But...8 Months Later, Here We Are.

Nah, **** these players. There's a half dozen of them we could get rid of asap and I doubt we'd go any worse. Madge might not be the solution but he's not the problem.

We should be shelving most contract talks for the next 8 weeks. If players sign elsewhere, **** em.

He’s at least part of the problem.

I completely agree so much of this is on the players. They are lazy, up themselves and so many are overpaid for the trash they deliver but Maguire is the one who keeps picking them.

We got him to go for broke, well he’s achieved the broke pretty well. If he is here to up standards, he needs to make the tough call.

Talking about how happy is with their progress and then picking the same 17 again and again is not driving standards.

Name one player who looks like they’ve improved. Obviously Shibasaki because he wasn’t at the Broncs last year but even he kind of looks to be starting to struggle, anyone else?

If we are being really, really nice we could say Haas but even that’s a stretch. He also looks like he’s starting to get a bit spent.

Sack the ****
He is ****ing clueless
Should never have picked a nsw coach to begin with
We are a ****ing Queensland club first
Qld coaches get us they ****ing don’t
Time **** off all the nsw ***** from this club already

Agreed we do need to be making players accountable by dropping them, can you drop half a team in one go?

Maybe he's letting them dig their own grave, I dunno. I am sure he's seeing what we're seeing. I don't think he's coaching them to make some of the errors they're making. It's just incredible how little awareness half of these guys have.

Most of them are dishing up the same trash they did last year. So we sack another coach and bring a third in now?

Yep players have to go before Madge. Baker, Riki, Piakura, Paix, Gos and indifferent to Staggs/Cobbo.

Yeah great points as always, its a really tough situation. You probably should be dropping everyone not named Haas or Carrigan.

Surely you can drop some though. Kobe needed to be dropped or demoted weeks ago. Paix's career is done at the Broncos, why keep picking him when you can be putting games in to Mozer? And Baker? Who on earth in our squad is not better than this powderpuff?

There are certainly some red flags, Madge's bench use has been bizarre, and sticking with a team that just isn't working and not trying something different, he is either trying to back his players or just doesn't trust the depth.

It's just weird.......

Madge took over from Cleary at the tigers and had season finishes of 9th, 11th, 13th and then was sacked at a record of 3 and 9… the tigers then won spoons…..

And this is the **** we want to rebuild us? Pleeeeeeease

How common is it, actually? How many other players were subjected to the same treatment as Topine? You know full well that trainers will bend the truth to suit themselves.

Again, it's smart business but like Marty, I think Topine received the short end of the stick because he simply wasn't talented enough.
I would be interested in what the late Cyril would have to say on this matter. Reason being, Cyril did a lot of work in the back story of a player. Phil Gould is the recent King Maker. Would Topine have been of interest to Cyril?

Topines" handling of the fallout concerns me. I will leave this to the courts to decide if Topine is a prodigiously gifted player of untold magnitude, that was cruelly cut down, and will never be able to work again.

Your idea that a particular trainer, or trainers, has limited merit. The fact that it falls to a trainer to be a deciding factor is a statement in itself. Clutching a straws, and an agenda mate.

Can you explain to us the difference between an agenda and an opinion? And why one of them is evil and the other something everyone is entitled to have.
