Honestly. I don't think this group of players is coachable. Same dumb shit and fading and choking, week in and week out.

Maybe some egos too big to listen to any coach outside of Bellamy. If whispering of disconent is to believed, **** this entire playing group.

All talent and no effort. Great on paper, shit on the field.

No decoy running, no support play. Monstered in the middle every week.

I think it gets under estimated how much pissing off the playing group can have. We did it with Bennett, and we did it last year as well. The players have to have some trust the club will do the right thing by people and if they dont thats when issues happen.

Sure he went and started up a team from scratch and is now with souffs. He hasn’t set the world on fire but that’s not the best environment for winning a premiership.

We definitely would have had one in the past 6 seasons since he’s been gone. Sacking him has given us a spoon and a spiral of mediocrity… in no universe was it the right move.

Haas has broken his silence

“I think it’s bollocks,” Haas fired when asked if Maguire has lost the group.

“We have got his back.

“Everyone has got belief in this group and what he does with us.

“We support him 100 per cent.”


Asked if Brisbane train too hard, he shot back:

“I don’t know, you guys are making up some stuff. It doesn’t come from any of us.

“It was good being with the boys (on the boat cruise).

“Honestly, it (their mood) has been good. I feel like the boys trained well the other day and ‘Madge’ (Maguire) has been pretty positive.

“He is confident in our group and he has high belief in our group, so he has been good.

“We enjoy being here and enjoy training hard, we just haven’t got the results.

“If we win it (speculation over Maguire) all goes away.”



But the five-time Paul Morgan Medallist insists it’s not the Haas and Carrigan show.

“No it’s not,” he said.

“We are working hard as a pack to try and get the best out of each other. It is not just me and Patty. We have got Kobe (Hetherington) and all these boys. It is not just us.

“I have all the faith in these boys here. The boys work hard every day. Whoever steps up has got to do the job.”

to be frank, hes not going to come out and rubbish his coach. Only cobbo seems to be that stupid.

Anywho, this is a thread about madge and as it stands. Team selections, player improvement, bench use, handling, discipline.. Everything is pretty shit at the moment.

Still waiting to see that "Structure" everyone was talking about...

Roosters. 2nd last in 2016, out of 16 teams. Won back to back Premierships 2018, and 2019. Bounced back in 2 years, and back to back premiers.

But yes, our team is once again, shit. Have to ride out the next 12 or so months.

Yeah so as I said. I don't think I've ever seen a team go from wooden spooners to grand finalists within 3 years.
 
Dobbo on Triple M 30mins ago "breaking" the news of the fallout of Marty liking Elijah Taylor's video.

He's apparently in trouble and has to meet with officials tomorrow.
