Good. It's so pathetic that a club as big as Brisbane is on track to miss the finals for the fifth time in six years. Meanwhile a poxy little club like the Sharks is there every single year. Even the Knights under Adam O'Brien, who everyone is stunned still has a job, have made the finals 4 out of his 5 years. Humiliating for everyone involved with running this club.

Can you imagine how hard it is to miss the finals 5 times in 6 years. Firstly, NRL has one of the most generous finals series I know of - you only need to be better than half the teams to make it.

On top of that, every team is part of a system purely designed to make the playing field even, and they seem to actively try and keep the comp as close as possible.

It’s almost a flip of a coin, and the broncos have called heads every flip for tails 5 out of 6 times. Not too mention that the club has so many advantages, they are basically playing with 2 coins. Still can’t make it

I agree with everything except the part where you try to make it sound like Brisbane is the glory club is used to be and we have all of this money to leverage us over our rivals, the money counts for nothing. The salary cap and the fact most of the clubs in the NRL have not only dipped their toes into the QLD talent pool, they're groin deep. The advantages that we used to have, are gone.

The football club could be broke and we'd be still no worse off than a team with all sorts of money that they can use, the advantage you get from having money is gone. Teams playing out of suburban grounds like Cronulla as you said, they are getting as many advantages as we are getting. Despite us obviously being one of the wealthiest sporting brands in Australia. It counts for nothing. That's the cold hard reality of it all.

Having said all of that, we still have one hell of a roster and we are apparently going through a rebuild, how else can you phrase it? We can't win footy games. Something obviously isn't right and we've literally just started under a new coach. A coach with a pretty good record I would say.

A lot of them are big noting on the media gushing over them for a few good games and the insane raps a few rookies get is ****ing ridiculous like they should be in the side already and be the marquee player of teams etc (like Mozer & Te Kura who have proven absolutely nothing at top level yet)

the reality is we can’t even find good players anymore. Reynolds was our first noticeable halfback since Alfie. Can’t find back rowers, our hooking stocks have been atrocious and even centre is now looking grim. Our rookies always seem not up to nrl standard.

Sounds like it's a scouting/development issue. We're either looking for the wrong thing, or whoever is in charge, doesn't know what they're doing.
