Should be interesting, I really hope Melbourne show them up.

If Manly get that penalty count in their favour again they might have a chance of beating the Storm

All the focus is on these 2 sides for the premiership, which I think is something Brisbane enjoy...

I hope both side belt each other until there are only 12 fit players left in either side!

I want Manly to win.

I can't stand the arrogant bastards, and if Hayne again plays for Manly - sorry, refs the game, the Storm will be up against it.

I think I'm the same as Beads. Hate both teams...

So, injuries to four key players from each side coupled with a gruelling draw after 90 minutes will leave me very happy!

I hope Melbourne dominates Manly. Personally I don't think they are on the same level as the Storm. They are too inconsistent, imo.

Hope the Storm really show them up and knock that P/D they have way down.
Manly think they are minor premiers already so let's hope their losing streak starts here and with injuries.....Nasty/

I concur, especially if Matt Geyer is still one of those fit players remaining.

What's wrong with Geyer? He performs week after week in so many different positions and is so important to them since they lost Aubusson back to the Roosters as the backup 6,7,9 in the first 17.

He isn't as bad as he was in 06, but he isn't anything to worry about either.

You could say that about 75% of the players in all footy teams. Just because one guy isn't a match winner doesn't mean they are not important. It would be like saying: "I concur, especially if Heath L'estrange is still one of those fit players remaining" if you were talking about Manly, the guy isn't the key to their chances but still plays a vital role within the structure. Geyer would be a huge lose for the Storm because he lets them pick 4 forwards on the bench and is so consistent that Bellamy has no hesitation in throwing him into the pressure spots in the halves or hooker even though he has little to know experience there. I would love us to have a guy like him at the club both as a loyal servant (take note Louganis) and as a truly versatile utility that can be depended on time and time again.

Actually Geyer is a real weakness in the Storm lineup, it just so happens hes playing in a side full of superstars, but I wouldn't rely on him

Not when it comes to Melbourne though. Some of their players mightn't be good enough for rep footy, but they are still very good club level players. Basically, at the moment I think Geyer is the worst player they have.

The thing that shits me about the Storm is, when is their turn at an injury crisis going to come?

**** me dead they have had some luck, on that front, for the last 3 years.

Meh, the salary cap will bite them soon enough. They lose a few next season and then Cam Smith is off contract. Look out Big $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

That has always bugged me, over the last 3 or 4 seasons we've had a side capable of winning the premiership, but every year we get hit with a ton of injuries, when the Roosters had their golden years they too had a good run with injuries. Manly are the same...

I've made a thread about his on another forum one time.

They seem TOO blessed with injuries, I can't remember the last time cronk/smith/slater/white/hoffman/quinn/turner/falou were injured.

Crocker is injured a fair bit but hes not that important to the team nor is greg inglis (He's probably there best player but not important in how the team run just adds brilliance)
