I agree. I can't understand this new craze of promoting U20s when they lack so much experience. Having one or two in the side is ok, but not heaps of them, as the Broncos have found out this year with Winterstein, Yow Yeh etc.

Props we need, not backrowers.

Wouldn't think we could afford Watmough anyway.

we'd have plenty of cash to spend on him given that we are losing Taylor and K. Hunt, also downgrading Locky's contract (most of which went on securing our gun u20's players) but he is a back rower... we have plenty of them, we need props

It says we are looking at Watmough for 2011 not 2010.
 
Watched Gillett play last weekend and he went really well. I actually wondered at the time who might have had him on their books. If he eventually makes the step up, good for him.
 
I wouldn't mind having Watmough. He's a very consistent player. But he'll have to watch out for his penalty count mind you. But would we even have enough to sign him?

As for Matt Gillett he sounds really talented, i'd like to see him in action.
 
Tbh if the Broncos were to sign any prop in the QCup it should be Aaron Summers for the Comets. Easily the best prop this year in QCup, solid as a rock and would definitely not look out of place in the NRL.
 
We've already had one KHunt, we don't need another in Watmough.
 
hahaha come on him and Karmichael can hook up with chicks in toilets together, K will be on the goldy so just down the road.
