BASKETBALL NBA

So apparently KD is off to Houston to partner Sengun. That should be fun, they're suddenly a legit heavyweight.

Every time KD goes to a team now they become a heavyweight.

How good do Juniors Daniels and Furphy look but had to laugh at the dude dunking the wrong end.

Siulepa look the best of all thre though.

giddey so close to a big tripple double bulls first 5-0 start since 95/96

He’s had a great start to the year too. Not many Aussies have though unfortunately. Landale is doing well but all the others are but part players except Daniel’s but he hasn’t set the world on fire either.

I know its early but Giddey is tracking to be an all star and be in MVP discussions. What a start he's having.

He can definitely be a sneaky all star in the eastern conference if he keeps it up. They don't have a lot of guards, especially with Haliburton's ACL.

Yeah I might have to cop a black bulls giddey jersey at this rate... Insane..

Proctor with 17 off the bench! He's been getting quite a few minutes off the bench for one of the best sides in the east - great signs.

Daniels with an almost triple double.

Giddey with another triple double on return from injury as Bulls go down to the Jazz in double OT. From an amazing start, the Bulls have really fallen into a hole sadly.

Daniels with an almost triple double in a Hawks' win.

Giddey and Daniels are smashing it this season. Giddey averaging near triple doubles and over 20 points a game. Daniels starting to average double doubles. Landale too going very well. Proctor ahead of schedule. Olbrich has got some game time. Reath still a bit hot and cold. Green is finally back for Charlotte and getting up to speed. Furphy back after a long injury lay off. Travers getting minutes here and there.

Irving (knee and has apparently changed to Aus), Exum (knee), Thybulle (thumb)all out long term now.
Toohey has been cut from his roster without getting a game. Ingles has had like one minute all season. Zikarsky getting no minutes but he is young and super raw.

I'd be looking at something like this for the Boomers best side:
C - Landale
F - Travers
F - Thybulle
G - Daniels
G - Irving
6 - Giddey (G)
7 - Furphy (G)
8 - Reath (C)
9 - Green (G/F)
10 - Magnay (F)
11 - Proctor (G)
12 - ZIkarsky (C)
Reserves - Dash Daniels, Furphy, Olbrich, Galloway, Henshall, Condon

There are obviously some Euro / NBL players who you would bring in if you want to get serious but I think it is good to get games into the kids.

Interesting. Hawks have traded out Trae Young for CJ McCollum but the expectation is they will use Young's salary now to get Anthony Davis.

Two things about this:
1. It means Dyson Daniels will become far more central to the Hawks which is exciting
2. Boy oh boy, what the heck did Dallas do with trading out Doncic for Davis? Monumental screwup, its one of the worst trades in any sport of all time.

Well the mid-season transfer market in the NBA has been INSANE.

There's been some big name moves with:

- Anthony Davis to Washington - man oh man, this is huge - the Mavs gave up Doncic to get this guy, I'd be livid if I were a Mavs fan
- Harden going to the Cavs to partner with Mitchell and Mobley, Garland to the Clippers
- Shroeder also off to the Cavs
- Coby White has left the Bulls to Green's team the Hornets, him and Giddey just didn't seem to work, so they have gone with Anfernee Simons - I think this is a good choice
- Along with Landale, Atlanta has also picked up Hield and Kuminga - They seem to be big winners out of all this movement to be honest

Some big moves for Aussies too with:
- Landale going from Memphis to Utah to Atlanta, he's now starting centre on the same team as Dyson Daniels. I think he might have finally found his home, he's a gun, just needs a consistent shot.
- Exum has been traded to Washington along with Davis, I'd expect him to end up being cut too
- Reath going to Atlanta and then cut - he's no longer in the NBA
- Travers has been cut by the Cavs - he's no longer in the NBA

Furphy has done his ACL, gone for the season just as he was starting to look good starting. Giddey has been out for ages.

As expected, Exum has been cut and along with Reath and Travers, is now out of the NBA.

It really hasn't been a great season for the Aussies now Giddey has gone down. Daniels is also out injured but length yet to be determined. Landale continues to impress on his third team this year!

Bam Adebayo scored 83 points today! Second most ever.

yeah that's ****ing wild. of all the people you'd think might hit 83 points, Bam wouldn't have been in the top 20 guesses. crazy.
