no Dearden was always going to the Cowboys hence never being offered another contract, broncos always new he was talented.

Kev didn't rate Dearden. Others at the Broncos did but not Walters.

Dearden certainly doesn't regret it. Kevvie did the right thing as he didn't have immediate plans for him. It's hard to keep someone around who doesn't want to be there.

I don't regret losing Dearden. Yes he is playing well but with the emergence of Mam onto the scene, we were very flush with quality young 6's at the time. One of them had to go, and it ended up being that one that wanted to.

Cracking game, I think Cronulla look the more likely with ball in hand but the Cows are one of those teams that always find a way to get a try.. solo efforts, kicks to backrowers, etc

No point worrying about whether it was a mistake to let Dearden go, I hate how this always comes up when a player leaves the club and goes on to have a breakout season somewhere else.

He wasn’t giving us what we needed and I would suggest Ezra Mam is the better player

If the broncos were getting the storm/roosters/panthers results the last 3 or 4 years even I reckon the broncos would EASILY have the same amount of supporters as all of the teams left im the finals combined.... but hey, the salary cap helps the game they tell me!
