Was saying the same thing, it's a ridiculous ruling they brought in a few years ago.
It’s always been the rule. Has to be a legitimate attempt and realistic chance. It falls under the cynical play umbrella.

Still a stupid rule in a sport full of stupid rules
 
They need a better kicker. They could have had 5 minutes to score a converted try to win.
