CROSS FORUM NRL 2022 Round 19 Discussion

Zero arms or attempt to wrap in the tackle by Kikau... but all good from Lord Vlando so we play on

Honestly ... where are the people that talk about the competition being reffed evenly and then sit there and watch Kikau being allowed to shoulder charge whoever the **** he wants... he's doing it to change momentum of the game i.e. the most important part pf the game...but our boy Patty Carrigan has to do it via front on body shot whilst the boys from Mt Druitt are allowed to do it via a tackle technique that's been illegal for about 5 years now

Kikau and penrith being a protected fucking species is really shitting me. How the **** is it fair?

People say you win some, you lose some, but I can not recall one game where you go back and say well penrith got the rough end of the deal there.

It is complete horseshit.

Bet he doesn't get away with it at the dogs. Dogs will just have to bring up the repeated vision of him doing it in Panthers gear and just embarrass the **** of the NRL

2022 Penalties
Penrith: 110
Broncos: 100

Pisspoor effort, Penrith. We remain at 4th, at the mercy of the Storm.

Cool... so Cam Murray just refusing to play the ball until he gets a penalty... that surely wont lead to issues

I thought Cronulla did a decent job of imitating Penrith to start off with and really unsettled them. However, once Penrith could complete a few sets and play off Cleary's kicking game, they started to expose the Sharks around the ruck, which eventually took its toll.

Once Penrith had the lead, they were well and truly in their comfort zone whereas Cronulla couldn't find any rhythm. Nicho Hynes kind of summed it up for me where he had some good touches but there were so many plays where he was in two minds and tried to stand the defence up in wet conditions.

I was really impressed with Tracey's performance for Cronulla. That effort to get Cronulla on top was huge and he made some quality plays from the wing.

I'm still baffled Finucane stayed on the field. A reckless shoulder tackle to the face of Crichton who has to come off with an HIA, it's a sin-bin every day of the week. I know there's some tall poppy syndrome around Penrith, especially with the way the commentators prattle on (they came back from a 2 point deficit at half-time! They only took the lead 41 minutes into the game!! Inconceivable!!!) but I thought they had some calls go against them tonight.

Well that was a stupid penalty from Souths.

Mitchell hasn't been getting involved much so far.

Geez I get the feeling Melbourne are going to thud back to earth next year with the team they're going to have.

What a fucking shame.

That was a great kick from Hughes.

Souths are keeping Storm in this.

Is Mitchell playing tonight? Barely seen him.

Cody Walker off for a HIA.. That's going to hurt Souths.
