Hopefully the Warriors see something in Tesi too.

My dog and I take full responsibility for annoying Mr Fourex.

The only person seeing something in Tesi at fullback is your coach.

Manu would’ve gone fantastic in our team

Would've been. Good thing the NRL let him stay at the Roosters for clearly a third of what you guys offered. Salary cap works folks.

Clearly?

What were the Warriors offering? 2.4 million a season?

Yeah it’s exaggeration but come on, 1 million v 600k? They Papenhauzen like without the poor excuse of concussions.

His last contract which he signed in 2019 was $720K. Chances are that was bumped up when he re-signed last year.

We bleat on about how clubs should be rewarded for developing players. Manu came through the Roosters system, should he be forced to sign with the highest bidder despite clearly loving his work-place?

No he shouldn’t be forced out but this is effective a reward for development other clubs don’t get. Plus if he’s bumped up, how do they afford to have all of Manu, Tedesco, Keary, Creighton on 800k-million? Then there are both Walker and Suaalii who were highly sought after plus origin reps in Tupou, Collins and Radley, these guys aren’t on peanuts. Then we have B.Smith coming in next year and apparently money for Haas.

It helps when you're not paying players a 1,000,000+ to play for the opposition...

I think you're putting the cart before the horses. Crichton has yet to re-sign and there's still plenty that has to happen before next year's rosters are finalised.

Just focusing on the Manu incident separately, I don't see an issue with it. I'd much rather see clubs be able to re-sign players that came through their system.

So 66% of us happy-ish.

I think that'll be the average this season.

That and 100% don't like the roosters.

Most of us Broncs fans are pretty happy this weekend. The team played fantastic and it was really just bonehead errors from Niu that kept us from winning.

If we play like that every week, I won't be pissed even if we lose every week. When they throw in the towel like last week, that's when I'm livid.

Been meaning to ask, what's the go with Tolutau Koula, is Des playing silly buggers naming him at fullback then dropping him the day before the game, injury? He looks like a talent for sure.

Week after week, game after game, I'm really getting annoyed at referees/bunker penalising tacklers who put in really good heavy tackles.

That bone rattling Broncos tackle just before halftime caused a turnover and should have been rewarded with them on the attack for the last minute to increase their 10-0 lead. Instead Rorters got a penalty and if not for the Footy Gods cuasing a dropped ball over the try line they would have got back to 10-6.

That was a ripper tackle, but these as soon as anyone hits someone really hard and the player makes an error it seems to be a penalty

It seems most fans at most clubs feel the same. It seems as if as soon as a big hit happens or a player stays down, you can almost guarantee a penalty.

In the interests of fairness too, I couldn’t stand that James got a penalty for us for that crusher tackle, absolute milking and I’d like to see players get penalised for faking injury in those situations.

We've tried not diving or milking penalties forever, but if that's the shit way NSWRL wanna run things then you have to play to those rules or fall behind the pack.

Don't worry though... if the broncos start diving it will only be a matter of time before the NSWRL do something about it.

Thank you. :) I think we can all 'live with a loss' each our team has a red hot go.

I'm "thinking" that when Parker was ok to go after his brush with covid, Des wanted him back in the centres and he def wanted walker in as 14th man so Koula was 'unlucky'.

that said, I will add "I don't know" and living overseas I tend to go by the mantra "In Des we trust." (sorry)

Oh I absolutely agree and I thought it was good James did it in the context of the current state of the sport but I hate that it is in the sport. I think it makes sense?

They've got the Kiwis v Great Britain flashback on SKY atm. Costigan and Halligan are just so synonymous with the Warriors for me. I'd take them over the Fox lot anyday.
