LOL!
What the **** was that Fifita?
What the **** was that Fifita?
I just think players nowadays know they basically have free reign to attack the hands of the defender if they pretend like they're going for the ball... I'd say 95% of them are just there to try and interfere with the player trying to catch it.I was fine with the call because the Eels chaser made a genuine attempt to compete for the kick before attempting the strip but I can see that argument as well. However, is a strip an attempt at tackle? Are all strips one in the same or can there be a tackle that turns into a strip?
That would be so dangerously reckless and just turn the game into Rugby. Players box kicking and sacking players looking for turn overs or at least wind them.I was fine with the call.
Honestly, I think the mid air tackle rule is rubbish and it shouldn't be illegal. Penalize them if they end up in a dangerous position, but if they don't, play on.

The past few seasons have been fucking dire for Rugby League in QLD
You still got SOE right ?
That would be fucking mayhem... wingers can already snot guys on backline movements if the timing is off slightly ... having a winger there as a sitting duck going for a bomb would see them copping shoulders into the guts 10 times a game.I was fine with the call.

You can't challenge for foul play... unless you're the roosters in the last minute of a game against broncosIf Gutho challenged that, Eels would have got a penalty.
