I agree it wasn't a send off. It was a dangerous position but he wasn't driving him into the ground. Seems like the Bunker made the call on it though

To be fair to Lawton, could he have done anything about the way he followed through, ie the way his body went on top of Murray? Would it have been worse had he tried to avoid that?

I wonder if the red means the judiciary might go a bit lighter on him.

Anyway, as I'm going for Souths, I'm not too torn up about it.

wow that is one of th emost ugliest tackles i have seen in a while

still i dont believe he should be sent off. it just got wrong on him

I think his issue was that he literally never tried to pull out of the tackle even after he had him basically vertical.

He then ends up off his feet driving into the ground.

I thought bin initially... but it was stupid and bad... send off was appropriate in the end
