I'd still much rather someone else somehow knock them out before it got to the GF should we make it 😂
We'll probably end up on the same side of the draw as Melbourne knowing our luck... can those cheating scum ***** just **** off already!!

I was thinking about that earlier. Could see us versing Melbourne at Suncorp in final rd and week 1...
Nah not sure we'll get them in round 1 of the finals... Panthers will get a top 2 spot and Warriors look odds on for a top 3 spot, so if us and the scum land in the top 4 then we can't play each other... unless Warriors drop like 3 games to bottom 8 teams and fall to 4th

The universe always finds a way. Maybe it was a nightmare where I thought up that scenario

Unless they beat Panthers or the Warriors beat us, we'll be playing them in the prelim if we both make it that far.

Yep, the Brisbane win in round 14 is probably aa good indicator of the chasm that separates the teams coming first and second. Hopefully you guys put in a solid performance against Penrith in the finals. There's no way you beat this mob, but a brave performance might take some of the sting out of losing to them. I'm with Gus, the Panthers are so freaking good.

We'll see Phil, we'll see. I love that we are getting written off by the media.

Given performances against the Bulldogs got Moses and Best into the NSW side, isn't that the yardstick for some reason? We scored exactly the same against them as the Panthers but conceded just 6 more points despite having half our team out and Penrith being at full strength.

We both played that team one week after the other and within the last two weeks. Isn't that a better comparison?

Additionally, Penrith can be vulnerable against a team that can bring serious aggression and we ourselves just belted the preseason favourites who tried to do exactly the same against us.

We've already beaten Penrith this year and ran them close in the return leg save for an interesting non-double movement try.

Only one team has beaten us convincingly, we've been in every other game, Penrith was beaten by Wests.

This team is not as unbeatable as Phil would like us to believe. And the reality is, when you speak as much as Gould does, you are going to get something right eventually and he has made a career out of it.

This though, is not one of those times.

I wish I were a professional dribbler like Gus. I might even get paid for all my shitposts here.

I just watched Panthers v Sharks.

I think they’re an incredible team. Strong defence and always at you, but the sharks were their own worst enemy. The amount of dropped ball was pathetic, and individual decision making laughable.
Watching a 40/20 roll out when it could have been picked up easily just one example.

Can’t see them dropping any more points to be honest. They do look good.

The Sharks are us or last year. They’ve run out of puff and are starting to rack up injuries. They’re done and will be lucky to win another game.

Averillo shoulder charges a bloke in the head during an aerial contest and gets penalised, but not binned for direct shoulder contact to the head.

Lemuelu is now out of the game with a Cat 1 HIA

Fox putting his foot on the line well after catching it... and then leaving it there... must think he's still in Melbourne with plays like
