NRL 2026 Round 1 Discussion

****ing lol... it's like last year all over again for raiders...

I’m all in on Manly here. Minor premiers also losing in round 1? Priceless

Still minor premiers were nearly knocked off by one of the worst teams in the comp. Ricky has lost the playing group, too intense, too much training blah blah blah

Yep, so Coby left here, rather than having a dig and showing us that he’s up for the fight just to sit behind the raiders two Ethan’s? Lol

you watch the NRL point to this game as a reason the new rules were needed while ignoring that many blowout scorelines in round 1

2 GP games
1x 10 point game
4 blow-outs with 2 being 50

They'll definitely point to the GP games showing the changes have worked.

Good luck getting in this side over Sanders, Black

He went alright today, threw a few long passes for tries, nice kick for a try. Had a kick from the sideline to lock it up after Raiders came back 16-6 down. Had more try involvements than he did in the whole of last season.

He was really engaged and attacking.

If the NRL is going to persist with the six again rule... then the rule needs to change so the try scoring team kicks off.
Only way to halt momentum and those 5-10 min swings where a team doesn't touch the ball.

Also Fck Canberra
