NRL 2026 Round 10 Discussion

I mean sin bin for the multiple penalties in a row, but a sin bin for that tackle...

Preston's argument wasn't even a bad one tbh. Katoa had turned his back completely so Preston very well could not have even been able to see the ball.

he owes me a few more given his bloody goal kicking.

he'll miss this too, Vossy has just put the mocker on him

The refs are pretty consistent with smashing players in the back. No drama there, dumb from Preston.

Dogs only have themselved to blame here.

surprise, surprise Ennis defending Preston there

Maybe its the old forward in me, but we shouldnt ask ex halves about why tackles on halves are late/should be binned. They all wanna go into the line as much as possible without being hit, and they also wanna have the option to dummy and go without being hit, they don't wanna be touched while kicking or just after kicking.

Gone too far on the protecting halves nonsense.

Speaking in general btw, Preston did get Katoa a bit late, but he also turns and hides the ball

So just run backwards into the line and pass as you get there? There is no rule against smashing someone in the back.

Bang.

I thought he let it go reasonably early and still smashed him in the back. If you are good enough to have that deception as a half where they can't see the ball then too bad. I hate the ones where the half takes it into the line direct and it is marginal side on contact/late and they penalise it
