Unluckily for the Dragons, the Panthers have the bye coming up so any thought of resting players goes out the window. If anything a few of these boys will want to go into Origin camp on a high.

How are you seeing the Sharks/Bulldogs? Can the Dogs exercise the demons of Suncorp or will the Sharks bounce back minus Blayke?

OR if they're broncos protect themselves in the game to avoid injury / suspension and risk missing origin.

Sharks vs Bulldogs is a tough one. I think Sharks get the win - mainly because I think they're a better chance of bouncing back compared to the Dogs (who if they were going to bounce back, would have done it by now).

Both their defences are pretty crap atm, but I think the Sharks have more points in them than the Dogs (who have no idea how to attack).

Yeah not sure about Sharkies. There bad day is very bad but also capable of scoring points. Dogs just don't have points in them ATM.
Sharkies won't have any players in SoO so get a nice opportunity to bank some.e points to.

This 6 man bench is going to corrupt the finals standing even more than usual and apart from AFB
I can't see any Sharks being selected so should be full strength .

Yep origin is going to completely **** the competition this year.

40 origin level players will be taken out of the comp for the 3 affected rounds... 6 of them won't step on the field, but won't be able to play for their club.

Penrith could easily afford to rest their certain origin players if they wanted to and would still likely beat the Dargs comfortably. Even if they did lose, they would stay top.

Whether you actually do it this early or not is obviously the question, but it could help them as the season goes on.

They've also used so few players so far due to how few injuries they've had, so you'd get a game into those players yet to play this season against shit opposition before they are needed through origin.

Did they ever have any injuries? They’re on some secret saaaas man, don’t you know?

Are St. George worse than the '99 Magpies team?

I thought last week for sure.. new coach had a chance to his feet under the desk, off a bye, just humiliated on ANZAC Day, at home against Newcastle.. 32-0 at half time

It looks like Magpies are in a world of their own... I remember similar talk popping up around the 2020 Broncos.

2026 Dragons: For 124pts (13.8 ppg ranked 17th); against 309pts (34.3ppg ranked 16th... Eels last at 34.5ppg)

2020 Broncos: For 268pts (13.4 ppg ranked 16th last); against 624pts (31.2ppg ranked 16th last)

1999 Magpies: For 285pts (11.9 ppg ranked 17th last); against 944pts (39.3ppg!! ranked 17th last)... FYI 16th for against were the Bears at 26.8ppg

Wests almost conceding 1000pts in a 24 game season is pretty insane.

They'll probably beat us or some wacky shit like that.

I can't really see a win for them until they play the Sharks and even then....

Reed could be out for up to 3 mths apparently with a hand injury.

Flanno JRs time to shine and get them heading north on the table.

Obscure finger injury - read not ready and a liability but trying to shield him?
