NRL 2026 Round 16 Discussion

Imo, Warriors continue to get some very interesting calls go their way. Most weeks.

Not just bunker howlers, but penalties/restarts too. Just seems 50/50s and the like always seem to land on their side more than anything.
 
Well deserved try there for Tuaupiki.

Cows have not been as bad as the scoreline suggests. Got the start wrong with Neame and Hess but hung in bravely. If Purdue scores it's well and truly game on.

They'd love a couple of moments back but plenty of positives moving forward.
 
Never going to be an actual threat of anything unless the contact and defensive middle is fixed. Mahoney has only made it worse. Cannot control the ruck even at an average level.
 
Was that stadium built primarily for Super Rugby? Would be cool to eventually see it as the home ground of 2nd NZ team

I can only imagine Webester is happy for the "embarrassing " officiating this week? How do they miss the knock on before that try?

Built for all events really, but yea mostly rugby will be played there, concerts and stuff too I belive. Chch had been in desperate need for it ever since the earthquake. Will be ideal for a 2nd NZ NRL side too!
 
Todd Smith used to call 6 agains every 3rd tackle now he refuses to give blatant one. What an arc.
 
You have to do better than that howarth. He has been horrible this year. No wonder he has been told to leave.
