NRL 2026 Round 2 Discussion

They are gargling Trells nuts like he isnt the only reason they are down by 2 with under 5 to go because he is a grub who gave away 2 free points for the hell of it by shoving his elbow into someone on the ground

Cynical ****ing shit from Tedesco there. Don’t blame Cody for wanting to fight.

If a player stays down to draw a penalty then they should have to go off for HIA. If its enough keep them for playing the ball its possible concussion.
Same as old mate last night... fell over on the goal line and then stayed down like he'd been shot... didn't get his penalty, but also didn't have to head off for a HIA.

Meanwhile 50m upfield Reynolds walks off the field after being hit after passing

in week one Cleary had a head clash with Willison. Willison was forced from the field for a HIA. Cleary allowed to play on

We were well into the part of the game though at that Steve where the ref forgot two teams could be penalised. They probably could have dumped a player on their head and it did have been play on.

They did dump Gos on his head and we didn't get a penalty, but Staggs tackles Pezet too hard and the whistle can't come out quick enough.

It looked like it was going to be a long night for the Warriors when Weekes crossed for a relatively simple try. They survived the initial pressure and then set up camp in the Raiders half. 6-all ended up being a good result for the Raiders.

Sliding doors moment. In the first half, Starling accepted an offload and was able to draw a valuable late tackle penalty that led to points. This time he accepts the offload and throws an intercept try. The Warriors had all the momentum from that point on.

Ford has been in career best form to start the season and they're doing a fantastic job of pressuring that middle third. I think they would have put 50 on if they weren't compelled to give the ball to RTS in the first half. Boyd had a career game last night and is handling the game manager role very well. Hopefully he can build on it, I like to see players rewarded for their perseverance.

Not the end of the world for the Raiders. With the way the rules are I think it's feast or famine. I brought up the Starling incident, but they also had a few turn overs right after they received a set restart and the Warriors scrambled very effectively to stop them.

I thought the reffing was fair - the Raiders were pushing the envelope and it was refreshing to see them called on it. I did find it somewhat suspicious that the Raiders 'cleaned up' their act when they were still loitering in the ruck - almost like Gough got the iggy to lighten up. It's not the first time that's happened to him either - he was the same referee who blew the pea out of it when the Broncos played the Roosters last year.

Early days, but the Warriors system appears to be paying dividends.

I wasn't a fan of the media pushing for fans to invade the field. However now that it's happened and nobody got hurt, I'm glad we got to pay our respects to an out and out professional infront of a big crowd.

It was a solid game of footy. Sydney looked flustered last week against the Warriors but Robinson's changes to the pack made them a better defensive unit and that 12-0 buffer just allowed them to control the game.

Souths did well to hang in the contest, but it didn't unfold as easily as it did against the Dolphins. Last week, Walker came up with that pivotal 40/20 that virtually decided the game. This week he lost his composure and couldn't get the Rabbitohs back into it.

I thought it was a very Fifita like performance tonight. 20 Runs, 8 Tackle Breaks - good. 15 Tackles, 7 Missed including two opportunities to stop tries - poor.

He's definitely a Broncos junior. 😛

Still think if both teams can stay fit they'll play finals. Souths need more from their bench, I'd have to think Keppie must be running low on chances.
