It's saved broncos twice already this year.

Shiba in round 4 when Anderson went down and last week when Reece went down.

If we don't have outside backs available on the 6 man bench both those games are potential losses as Piaks or Riki are moving out, Willison/Jhunt into second row and the middle rotation is messed up (no Haas in round 4) as well as having a weakness at centre and maybe even backrow pending views on X when he's shifted out there.

Could've been staring down the barrel of a 1-4 start if the 6 man bench didn't exist

Wonder where the articles are...they had some crying about how the proposed new rules would have prevented our run at the premiership last year, thought they'd be salivating over the "the new rules have now benefitted the Broncos more than any other team" angle!
