The 17 streaks easily ecplises the previous record of 12, set back in Round 22 of the 1996 season in the 20-team ARL competition
Round 6 proved to be a points extravaganza, with 464 points scored at an average of 58 points a game – the fifth highest points average in a round throughout the NRL’s 28-year era.
