I actually think he's one of their issues. If the Storm were in their heyday he'd be a nice icing on the cake. But they way they are at the moment, they need more that a whippet with speed and a step. Unless there is a broken line he gets rag-dolled on exit sets, and they may as well be playing with 12 in defence.

Seeing him laugh and smile after that flogging just now, that side of him wouldn't fly under old storm either. You would never see that from Slater/Smith or from a player under those 2 (imo)

You're right. But he acts like a flog and scored a (meaningless) highlight-reel try, he's probably really happy with himself.

You know if that was Madge that gave that kind of press conference that Wayne gave the media would be relentless with their criticism, but because it's Wayne they laugh it off.

I reckon if they told Wayne he doesn't need to go to the presser because he doesn't actually say anything... he would still turn up looking for praise anyway

I doubt he’ll want to keep extending his coaching tenure now.
I keep seeing people comparing the Storm to the Panthers last year in the start they got, difference is the Panthers weren't having 50 put on them and they actually had the players to pulling off.
Storm are done, go back to our win down there we went in with no confidence out of form and back to back losses, Storm on the back of 2 big wins and we roll them.
Then the Warriors who people were blowing smoke up after that game for scoring 30, now its the normal vs the Storm, I never thought I would see the day but they are cooked!
