In fairness, Slater was out injured.

Great side that 2015 crop was. Shame they didnt kick on.

Honestly the way we’re playing now reminds me of that team - get marched down the field and don’t wrestle but defend the try line like dogs.

Back our brilliant attack to get us the metres we need.

Back then though you knew you had 6 tackles to defend. Now it's a lottery. Even if we're conceding fast PTB's and bulk field position, there's still the possibility of having to defend 10-15 tackles in a row.

Im all aboard the fk Melbourne train, but missing one of the best wingers and best backrowers the competition has to offer and one of the better fullbacks leaving would be an impact. They just seem bang average in backrow and across the backline now, which is not helping Grant/Hughes/Munster who are all clearly well down on confidence too.

Long may the losses continue but they are big big outs/changes.

Broncos vs Storm in 2015 is an example of a game that I cannot tell you a single thing that happened in it, but it will long live in my memory as being a great defensive effort.
