Canberra have re-invented themselves, building the team more around effort and defence than pure attack approach in the past. It's something I hope we take on board too, even if we have to cut some good attacking youngsters in the future. If they can't defend, we won't be winning premierships. Still, I don't think Canberra's defence will be good enough to hold out the Roosters at their best.

If Luke Keary is out, this game could get interesting. Suddenly Storm would probably become favourites. They'll target Cronk a lot more, maybe we'll see Smith grabbing Cronk's throat this time?

In the NRL’s contract With Smith Inc (not the other way round), there is a stipulation that Smith must be in the right and made to look good at all times.

I can not friggin wait for this game tonight! I hope they absolutely throttle themselves in oblivion. I would hope the broncos players are watching this as a collective group and then acknowledge to themselves that they need to harden the **** up if they wish to get to the promised land.

Only just. I'm pretty close to neutral on this one. Seeing either team lose because of poor reffing would be just golden. I do hold the roosters in a slightly higher regard than the Storm though.

I was hoping for a rorters win before Politis' comments the other day. I'll never cheer the storm, so now I don't really care. I just hope whoever wins is missing key players next week.
