Wilton passes the ball and stays in the Defensive line and makes no effort to get out of the way Trindall receives the ball with Wilton in front of him and changes direction to run around him denying McLean a chance to make the tackle. Probably ankle taps at best but it's been an obstruction all year .2. Ball Carriers must not run behind an active 'Block' or 'Flat' runner and disadvantage the defensive line.
Had Cotter or McLean gotten to Wilton when Trindall was behind him then it would have been deemed an obstruction. As it was, nobody was directly disadvantaged in this instance.
